Statement

これまで一貫して自然の中にある風景を主題として抽象作品を制作してきたが、近年は風景そのものを捉えた作品も制作している。抽象表現作品と同じくこの世に存在するものは永遠であるという主題が作品の土台である。それでは双方の違いとして一つ挙げるならば、抽象作品はミクロの視点であり、風景作品はマクロの視点から見た自身の解釈である。



While I have consistently created abstract works centered on natural landscapes, in recent years I have also been producing pieces that capture the landscapes themselves. Underlying both approaches is the fundamental theme that the things existing in this world are eternal. If one were to point to a distinction between the two, it is that my abstract works represent a micro-perspective, whereas my landscape works are my own interpretations viewed from a macro-perspective.
